Deputy Minister of Enlightenment, Science and Technological Development for Dual Education Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Grujić visited the company FPM Agromehanika, and the negotiations were attended by the owner of the company Ljubinko Gobeljić and representatives of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Nis – Dean Dr. Nenad T. Pavlović and vice dean for cooperation with the economy Dr. Predrag Janković.
The topic of discussion was a way of accelerating the inclusion of young engineers in the dual studies system that would provide them with a secure job immediately after completing their studies.
The Assistant Minister outlined all the benefits of the Law on dual model study in higher education, which was adopted in 2019, and refers to the increased fund of hours of learning through work in accordance with the study program, the way of creating contracts and new study programs that would be in line with modern technological developments and the needs of our economy.
Company owner Ljubinko Gobeljić expressed the long-term need for higher education personnel, especially mechanical engineers, metallurgy and electrical engineers. The Dean of the Faculty of Stroja welcomed this decision, and students will have the opportunity to visit the factory in the shortest period of time, look at the conditions and sign the first cooperation agreements.
With the development of dual education and at the level of higher education institutions, we also provide students with the opportunity to be immediately employable in the active process of learning through work in a company that is part of the study program and carries part of ESPB credits to gain the knowledge management skills and to be immediately employable and employable by the acquired quality of competences, the Assistant Minister concluded.
